Chamomile essential oil (German/Blue) – Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Oil

Chamomile german essential oil is renowned for its soothing properties and is especially useful for dry, problem and irritated skin. It has a strong, sweet and pungent aroma. It is a dark inky-blue colour due to its high levels of chamazulene.

It is very beneficial for muscular aches and pains and particularly effective when used with a compress, either hot or cold, if you are suffering from a ‘buzzing’ head after a stressful day.  It is a wonderful essential oil for promoting a good night sleep when used in a burner.

Chamomile german essential oil is non-toxic and non-irritant. It can cause dermatitis in some individuals and should be avoided during pregnancy
