So many people open up, but forget to also close down and leave themselves wide open for malevolent influences. I teach a very simple meditation of visualising a rose bud opening up to a beautiful rose (to open). Then visualise it closing back to a bud again to close down. The chakras do need to be closed down in some way as well after meditation.
